First Quarter Interim Grades

Thursday September 9th marks the end of the reporting period for interim grades. Grades posted in PowerSchool on Monday, September 13th represent the 1st Quarter Interim Grades. Students can access their PowerSchool portal through Clever. Families need a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access student grades and attendance. Families can create a Parent Portal account at https://ps.kgcs.k12.va.us/public/ if they have not already done so. Email Megan Sullivan mmooney@kgcs.k12.va.us or Cheryl Conklin cconklin@kgcs.k12.va.us if you need Access ID & Password information to create a PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

King George Middle is going 1:1! 

We have exciting news for our middle and high school students and staff! KGCS is moving to a device check out program that will give students access to the same Chromebook both at school and at home! This is a huge undertaking for our staff and we are so excited that students will have Chromebooks as an instructional tool in every class, every day. Chromebook distribution will occur the week of September 7. A few quick notes about the device checkout program:

Student Device Agreement with Cover Letter will be distributed to students in grades 6-12 on Monday, August 30. 

The Device Agreement is due Thursday, September 2 and must be returned before a student can have a Chromebook issued
